BigQuery, Google Cloud’s data warehouse, now supports 11 additional blockchains

Google’s BigQuery has added 11 new public data sets for blockchain networks, expanding its coverage to a total of 19 networks. The new networks include Avalanche, Arbitrum, Cronos, Ethereum’s Görli testnet, Fantom, Near, Optimism, Polkadot, Polygon’s mainnet, Polygon’s Mumbai testnet, and Tron. BigQuery is Google’s data warehouse service that allows enterprise firms to store and query their data. In addition to adding new blockchains, Google has implemented user-defined functions to handle long-form decimal results often found on blockchains. This feature aims to provide customers with access to longer decimal digits and reduce rounding errors in computation. Google Cloud has been increasingly interested in blockchain technology and has recently partnered with Voltage and Orderly Network.
