Following a widely-watched hearing where former United States government officials claimed the existence of alien spacecraft and “biologics,” crypto degens wasted no time in creating a wave of extraterrestrial-themed memecoins. The hearing, which took place at the House Oversight Subcommittee on National Security, saw David Grusch, a former Pentagon task force member on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) and whistleblower, accuse the U.S. government of covering up alien visitation to Earth. This has led to the emergence of over 50 alien and UFO-themed tokens in the last 24 hours. However, it is important to note that many of these new tokens may be honeypot scams. Despite the trending topic, most of the new tokens have seen little to no trading activity.
